Yeah in the first line I think it’s someone coming to terms and believing there is an afterlife (“Universe surrounds when your ready it waits for us to leave this Earth”) the next part states “Its calling your name out” suggesting that the narrator is reassuring them it’s their time to go, the “I don’t know I could stay or leave part” to me is about the realisation of the insignificance of their life and how they have no control over it, not sure on “The comet can take us all the way through” part but I’m guessing it’s the way they're getting to the afterlife, the “Goodbye say Heaven part” is the harsh reality that they will soon be dying but are trying to have an optimistic outlook on it by realising they might go to the afterlife or if there is no existence they are simply just waving goodbye (that’s my time up and there’s nothing more we can do), “Return to see everything looks the same” could be how the person has a shift from optimism and becomes pessimistic again (everything looks the same) their mind hasn’t changed after all and the same pessimistic outlook of death is still apparent, the song bounces between and argues the two points of optimistic and pessimistic outlooks on death, “I don’t know if the change made was great coz the craving remains the same” this could be how the narrator (chino) is at peace with not knowing his fate in and after death but then realises the craving of finding out more about his curiosities of death and the afterlife are too strong to ignore and therefore these important subjects are always on his mind hence why the song is slightly depressing as he doesn’t know for sure what’s going to happen, he then ultimately starts talking about heaven and waving goodbye again as he begins to go in the loop again of not caring what happens to him (he starts believing again that he is either going to have a good afterlife or he’s not going to know anything) so he stops worrying for the time being but it’s inevitable that the cycle will continue to bother him.
