A kind of lyrics designed as one-to-one consolation. (i.e.) both the writer and ppl share similar condition.

The writer, I believe, isn't quite sure of the argument he suggested in order to convince himself and the rest of us with. Said he," cause beyond every bend is a long blinding end". Instead of explaining how does that work as we're not accustomed to take blinding ends as painful but, actually, a fresh start, the writer just amplified the argument with an open ended piece of thought: it's the worst kind of pain I've known; and in time you'll be glad it's gone. It's much like, is that for real? Because we've never taken it this way before, you too. In short, the song " roads untravelled " was purposed to have a pause in order to release the misery inside for pointless, if not toxic, entertainment. We can refer to:

( The song melancholic tone and the growing sorry cries).
( The song offers no resolution. That is to say, there's no room for positive vibes in this one as the writer planned to persuade us with his arguments why we shouldn't feel sorry for a life we live in as merely observers like for good).
