BAHAHAHA Isn't that funny? Ok anyway,I say it's about A (noun) in witch can be used at any time for whatever purpose (noun-person/people)wants, that when used makes your "problems" go away.. I.E crucifying your enemies, broken virgin reality, etc...
Changing things to forget the love, it's going to lose it's own game.... Sounds like an addiction of some sort, trying to be tossed away by the person who has it... Or thing for that matter.
In the end I think the song was made for people with addictions of any kind in general that make you feel like real problems go away. That people should learn to go without them, maybe it's not so bad facing reality without this thing... Whatever it may be.
If Matt want's robotic puppies that live and look cute forever, by god people, let's give the man some damn puppies! If you want it to be about is guitar, why the hell not? You like porn, go for it!
