The song seems to examine many of the concepts examined in Plato’s Allegory of the Cave; imperfections of the physical and perception in contrast to perfect forms. It references epistemological concepts using foundational philosophical verbiage in concert with Christ enlightenment (not to be confused with contemporary ‘Christian’ dogma fundamentally mutated from its original form starting with feuding factions of the first century AD through the Councils of Nicaea up to its modern propagandized pacifistic incarnation). It’s a beautiful song that touched me upon the first listening. It truly transcends the listener.
