Life in a bubble jungle-something about the type of life the people in this country live in(most likely a 3rd world country
I wouldn't frown- don't give up hope
Not short another chuckle-there is nothing funny about the situation
Snake in the ground- most likely a snake hole( snake hole is a small hole in the ground were soldiers can hide and ambush people)
But I was in there for you- a friendly soldier(a rebel)in the snake hole
Now leaving town- trying to escape the country

The power struck- people serving someone who currently has power (probably hoping for some reward(most likely their life)
Believing you then kneeling
Appeasing
The power struggle- the person believing their life will be saved
We're left with no arms- the citizens are powerless(arms meaning guns)
Right in the power struggle- during the time when there is a domestic war for power

Wearing a crown- being leader of this country

Chasing a clown- a rebel being chased by authority
Not short another chuckle- nothing funny, the rebel realizes hes in constant danger
Snake in the ground-again the ambush
